Author Imbues Book of Short Devotionals with Lively Sense of Humor

Title shows readers Christs presence in the everyday mess of life

LONGWOOD, FL--Combining his love for God's Word, moments from his youth while growing up with eight brothers and sisters in the '60s and '70s, and a desire for people to see Christ in their everyday lives, Xulon Press author Tim Talbot uses a lively sense of humor to create 50-plus short devotional stories for the whole family to enjoy in It's a Jumble Out There! ($11.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-925-1) This new title demonstrates how, by looking through the eyes of a child who sees the fun in everything, life can seem pretty jumbled at times--but God is always present.

Talbot, who has counseled many men in his ministry work, says he witnessed many people who seemingly had no hope come to Jesus. From then on, their lives were forever changed. Similarly, he is confident that his book will lead readers to change their attitude, outlook, and legacy--all for the better. "My hope is that someone may encounter Christ while reading this book," he explains.

Tim Talbot has been involved in ministry work for the past 20 years and is a national speaker on teaching and family topics. He and his wife, Tammy, are the proud parents of two sons, Ben and Luke.
