MAITLAND, FL—Ginger Levi’s new book Rest ($15.49, paperback 9781498485746; $7.99, eBook, 9781498485753) asks readers: do you ever find
yourself frustrated, stressed-out, at the end of your rope? Would you label
yourself a bad “rester”? God has an excellent plan for each of our lives
(Jeremiah 29:11) but it often seems like everything is working against us. True
excellence in life is achieved by the balance that comes from a life submitted
to His agenda and not our own. Are you ready to trade your stress for His rest?
This book is for you.
Levi says, “Stress
is an ever-present factor of modern life. A large percentage of people are
taking medication to treat anxiety, depression and other stress-related
illnesses. This book offers a practical strategy aimed at reducing levels of
stress and developing a lifestyle of rest in God which is both active and
intimate. My desire is to share the insights and experience I've gained in my
struggles with resting in order to facilitate spiritual growth and Kingdom
purpose in the lives of my readers.”
