LONGWOOD, FL--It was with loving affirmation that Bonnie Schluter penned Love Letters from God ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-318-1) to encourage her sons when they left home for college and for her sisters struggling with raising families of their own. Before she passed away in 1991, Schluter left a loving legacy for her sons as they settled into their families and successful careers. It was her wish that these tender and intimate love letters--written as though directly from God--would touch many other hearts with God's abiding love and grace.

"Bonnie was a Spirit-filled Christian trying to live the life God wanted for her and her desire to help others," says her husband, Robert Schluter. Ever since his wife's passing, he has worked tirelessly to find a way to get her poignant message out to readers everywhere so they might benefit from the gentle inspiration and timeless wisdom of God."

Inspired by God and spoken to the author by the Holy Spirit or God Himself, these letters will encourage, assist, and enlighten those who need the love of God in their lives. Readers everywhere will have a better understanding of God's abundant love and how easy it is to get it.

Bonnie G. Schluter was born in Larose, Louisiana. She graduated from Louisiana State University with a B.S. in home economics education. In 1952, she married Robert Schluter, who is retired from the U.S. Department of Defense, Defense Contract Management Agency. The Schluters have three sons and six grandchildren.
