LONGWOOD, FL--"So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God" (1 Corinthians 10:31). This verse has been quoted and preached multiple times throughout the course of history, but few people know how to actually implement it in their everyday lives. Within the pages of Glory, Glory, Glory: Focusing on the Glory of God ($16.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-887-9), a new Xulon Press title, author Lareau Lindquist has taken this familiar biblical mandate and made it understandable and desirable. The glory of God is a major theme of Scripture, yet frequently it is passed over to enable the speaker to "move on to the subject at hand." This refreshing new perspective on the glory of God will ultimately call men and women back to this all-important subject.

"In this book we focus on two thoughts: understanding the hugeness of the glory of God, and choosing to put Him in first place in all that we are and in all that we do," the author says.

The idea for this book was planted more than 25 years ago, when Lareau Lindquist chose to write his major doctoral paper on the glory of God. Like many Christians, he knew that the glory of God was a huge subject, but he soon learned that it was the most important pursuit of life. "The original manuscript was lengthy and heavy," he explains. "Several publishers thought that it would be of special interest to pastors, theologians, and professors at Christian colleges and seminaries. I sensed, however, that God was pressing me to make it understandable and practical to all Christians...in the pulpit but also in the pew...young and old."
