LONGWOOD, FL--Many people feel as though the mistakes they make are so bad, they can't come back from it--but nothing could be further from the truth! Broken Tools In God's Hands ($16.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-892-3; $26.99, hardcover, 978-1-60957-893-0), a new Xulon Press title from author Keith Ellerbrock, was written so that Christian people who feel like prodigals crushed by guilt and shame can know God's rescuing grace more deeply and be set free to serve Him with new hope and joy in their hearts. After reading this book, sinners will be broken of their pride so they can be lifted up by the Good News of their forgiveness, redemption, and restoration in Jesus Christ.

"I want the reader to look at the broken heroes of the Bible such as Moses and David, Peter and Paul, and realize that if God could forgive these Bible characters their shameful sins and use them for mighty things, He can also forgive the reader for anything he or she has done, and still use them in His kingdom of grace for important things," the author says. "If you think you've sinned too greatly or too often to be forgiven by God, or that you've sinned too greatly or too often to be used by God, you're wonderfully wrong!"

The book was written out of Ellerbrock's own personal experience. Previously, he says that "I've done things against God and other people that I deeply regret, and I've failed to do things for God and other people that I wish I had." But after rediscovering the forgiving, extravagant love of God for him in Jesus Christ, he felt compelled to share the testimony of His wondrous grace with many others so that they, too, could find comfort, hope, and a sense of renewed purpose.
