LONGWOOD, FL--"What do you think God sees when He looks at you?" This question was first posed to author Lynne Junkins Cole when God began speaking to her in 2009, and it was a subject that she shared and discussed with her friends. Then, at His request, she began compiling the answers to this question into a compelling new book, God's Question: What Do You Think God Sees When He Looks at You? ($22.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-932-6) which she has just published with Xulon Press. This book will help create a safe place for readers to answer this question as honestly as they want, provide them with a simplification of the Christian terminology used by many pastors and teachers, and reveal a deeper understanding of what Jesus did on the cross and who His creation can be because of His coming to earth.
"I believe people will see they are not the only ones who think the way they do," the author says. "It helps to realize this. I pray it will get them to really think about what God sees when He looks at them. For those who really ponder God's question, their life can and most likely will be changed."
When God asked the author to write this book, she accepted the assignment with surprise, feeling inadequate and honored. As she began to ponder how she could put the answers to this question in book form, God led her to post His question on religious group discussion boards. The responses were diverse and unique. "I soon learned there is no 'right' or 'wrong' way to answer God's question," she says.
