LONGWOOD, FL-LONGWOOD, FL--God is at work in our lives, although we may not know it at times. Author Jane McCaskill's life bears testament to this fact; through her faults, failures, and disappointments, God was at work and trying to teach her to trust him. In her new release from Christian self-publisher Xulon Press, God Makes No Mistakes ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-60477-863-2), she chronicles the many answers to her life's prayers, even when she doubted they would be answered, questioned God, and at times doubted His love for her and her family. This autobiographical work will be a blessing to those who are going through periods of trial and who feel as though God is just not listening to them.

Says McCaskill, "As you read my personal experiences with God, my prayer is you will realize that God is uniquely involved in each of our lives. We need to acknowledge that God is in control as we see His divine plan and His divine hand in our lives. Nothing is by chance in the Christian's life. God has a plan for each of us. We can either seek Him and His direction, or we can choose to ignore His presence and walk in disobedience."

A faithful witness to the grace of Jesus Christ, McCaskill likes getting the word out about trusting God, believing that life will be much simpler if more people do. "As I reflect on the past 35 years, I see now that God was at work, and He was trying to teach me to depend on His faithfulness," the author says. "It was hard for me to learn what he wanted me see all along." But once she did, her life was one full of miracles and godly provision--and yours can be, too.
