LONGWOOD, FL--The devotional Daily Triumph ($20.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-903-6; $27.99, hardcover, 978-1-60957-904-3), a new Xulon Press title that was compiled and edited by Jeff Pepper, features at least one message from each book of the Bible. Also included is Ruth, the book of Redemption and Colossians, the book telling of Christ as the supreme and all-sufficient one. Besides this, readers will find eighteen devotional messages on the work of the Holy Spirit inter-mingled throughout. Finally, each devotional features "Today's Hymn"; this is the title of a hymn so that readers can reflect on the song. This book will ultimately help assist people in the study of God's Word.

"I hope that readers gain a desire to study the Word of God so they are better equipped for the work God has called them to do," the author says. "The messages were supplied by 45 men of God. These 45 men of God desire to help people in their study of God's Word."

Born and raised in Sterling, Illinois, Mr. Pepper did not attend church regularly. While working at his place of employment, a man was hired who talked to him about spiritual things. This man invited him to visit the church he went to, and after attending for about a year, he realized this was indeed what he had been seeking. Mr. Pepper then accepted Christ as his Savior and went on to serve faithfully there. It wasn't until April of 2001 that the Lord laid on his heart a burden to put together a devotional book using messages from pastors, evangelists, missionaries, Christian educators, and others in full-time Christian service. Now, almost 10 years later, this devotional is here.
