Willie Williams, the subject of Xulon Press author Roger L. Van Ommeren's new release, From Rebellion to Submission ($16.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-431-7), provides a revealing personal account of lives of young blacks living during this period in the South. Within the pages of this book, readers will see how Williams lived in total rebellion against God, rejecting education and living for drugs and alcohol--behavior that led him to two separate terms in prison. His story points to the rebellion that exists in all of us and shows we serve a merciful God who is greater than all our sin and rebellion.
"The subject of the book, Willie Williams, and myself as author would really like to reach those who rebelled against God as Willie did with the message that God will still accept us if we repent," the author says of his hope for the book.
