LONGWOOD, FL---Xulon author Polly Sanders-Peterson grew up feeling unloved, unwanted, unaccepted, and never good enough. But God brought her from a place of believing lies about herself to His truth that He had always loved her. In the author's debut book, Love Search (paperback, 978-1-60477-702-4), she shares with readers how she moved from great hurt, rejection, and abuse to filling the void in her heart and her life with God's unconditional love. She has already seen the effect experiencing God's unconditional love has on people's self-esteem: they have better relationships, jobs, and family unity. She only hopes readers who delve into Love Search will come to love and accept themselves as others have.

Says Sanders-Peterson, "Everyone I know, young or old, is searching to find love and a lasting relationship. This story will let people feel my pain/hurts and also experience my joy/love and my new freedom to know love from within and how [I] found unconditional love and acceptance of self and of others. It is what everyone is looking and searching for––love from within, not from the outside."

The author says she spent her life trying to fill her void of love with doing things for others. It was a long time before she came to realize what she really wanted was love and self-acceptance. Until she reached out to God, who she knew existed but didn't think loved her, everything she had been trusting in had been only temporary––nothing lasted as long as God's everlasting and fulfilling love.
