LONGWOOD, FL-Miracles do happen; Xulon author Myra Woodbridge's life is living proof of this fact. In her newly released book, Chosen of the Lord - Broken in Heart (paperback), the author chronicles how she went from being nearly destitute to enjoying heart-stopping adventures with God. As she and her husband, Terry, experienced brokenness, disappointment, and loss in their ministry, they marveled at the power of God to turn their pain into gain. Now the author hopes to teach others that loss and disappointment don't have to be the end of their story when they belong to Him.

Says Woodbridge, "My message is relevant because people are hurting. Some think they have failed the Lord and that He won't use them again. People need to know the journey I took so they can find healing and purpose again. Loss and disappointment does not have to be the end of the story when we belong to the Lord."

A former student of Bible scholars at Mt. Paran Church of God in Atlanta for many years, the author received a sound foundation in the Bible. "I have studied the Word extensively all my adult life, but I came to realize the greatness of its power in a more profound way when I went through this broken season," the author explains. "[I want readers to understand that] no one has to live with that deep hurt in their lives because God can redeem it and bring something positive from it. He can actually surprise us!"

Myra Woodbridge currently resides in Winston, Georgia.
