LONGWOOD, FL-Not long ago, author Minister Jesse J. Coleman had an important dream. In that dream, God took him up in the mist of the clouds and commanded him to write a book called One Hundred and Forty-Four Scriptural Reasons Why a Woman Shouldn't Preach ($9.99, paperback, 978-1-60647-203-3). Now a new release from Christian self-publisher Xulon Press, the book seeks to prove to readers that according to God's unchangeable Word, women are not to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. The book also aims to impress on readers that we are all witnesses of Jesus Christ, and as such women are required to spread the Good News of what He did for us on the cross, but not to preach in any capacity.

Says Coleman, "Truth be told, God has it already set up. Women are not to be over men. It is the Word of God, and we are not to be disobedient in any way. If we just obey Him and don't lean on our own understanding, we ministers [will realize we] have to preach the whole truth."

Born and raised in Sardis, Alabama, in a family of seven, Coleman has had a long family history of uncles who were ministers and deacons. Additionally, his two brothers and cousins are ministers in Christ, so his call to join the ministry seemed only natural. Now he does what he loves best--help others to understand the unchangeable Word of God. "I wish to thank God for letting me be used as an instrument, for the truth must be told."

Minister Jesse J. Coleman currently resides in Ohio.
