LONGWOOD, FL--Today, more than ever, the Gospel of Jesus Christ must be restored to the marketplace of humanity. Rather than relegating their attempts to espouse the Good News to the cloistered walls of sanctimonious religious edifices many call "the church," people must place the liberating Word where people live--beyond the "No Trespassing" signs posted on the doorposts of their hearts and minds. Within the pages of his new Xulon Press book, From Stage to Stage and Glory to Glory: The Astonishing Passage from Darkness to Light ($20.99, paperback, 978-1-61215-021-5), author Ron R. Griffith shows readers how to implement a concentrated plan of attack against the enemy and conform to the image of Christ. Additionally, the author reveals how he and his wife, Echo, encountered illness and financial turmoil--and how God's divine intervention bathed them in glory.

"Time dictates haste in our efforts to fulfill the great commission of our Lord!" the author says. "The moment has come for God's people to go behind closed doors--where people abuse themselves with alcohol, drugs, and pornographic literature; where anger often erupts into violent acts of cruelty against family, friends, and neighbors."

Ron R. Griffith, of Carlsbad, New Mexico, was reared on an 80-acre farm in Thayer, Missouri. After attending Freed-Hardeman College in Henderson, Tennessee, and York College in York, Nebraska, he received his Bachelor of Music degree from Pepperdine University, Los Angeles. He then completed his Master of Music Education at Eastern New Mexico University, and studied postgraduate work at the University of Northern Colorado.
