LONGWOOD, FL--Having faith in God's will and timing is of the utmost importance. However, it's one of the hardest practices to weave into daily life. Go on an adventure-filled journey within the pages of The Impossible Dream ($20.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-927-5), a new title from Xulon Press. Author Lila Carpenter Windus uses her protagonist, Auna, to depict a woman whose faith in the Lord keeps her going as the world she knows collapses before her eyes. This book proves that faith, hope, and love can conquer even the worst of times. Lives can change, love can be resurrected and hope can be renewed if God is the leader of each and every day.

"Dreams are what life is all about, what life is made of, giving you a desire to be everything God created you to be," writes the author. "Sometimes dreams, even impossible ones, come true."

Lila Windus grew up with a love for animals--in particular, horses. She received Apache, her first horse and longtime friend, in the fall of 1974. The author gave her heart to Christ at the age of nine and was baptized at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Dale County, Alabama. She graduated from the Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine and currently owns and operates Currahee Veterinary Clinic in Toccoa, Georgia. She is a wife and mother of two daughters. Her love for Christ and horses helped to inspire this moving story.
