LONGWOOD, FL-Have you ever thought your life was without purpose? Do you believe your present circumstances don't define your future? As a rebellious young man, Xulon Press author Ipe Mathai appeared to be on the path to nowhere. From a small village in rural Kerala, India, he rejected his family and became a homeless runaway. He joined the multitudes of people living on the streets of India. But through many divinely appointed moments, God took him, a rebellious young man who was searching for an identity, and led him to a place of spiritual and personal fulfillment. The author's new release from Christian self-publisher Xulon Press, A Handful of Clay in the Potter's Hand (paperback, 978-1-60647-619-2; hardcover, 978-1-60647-620-8), chronicles his new life through a personal relationship with Christ.

Says Mathai, "I hope [readers] will see that anything is possible when we allow God to have control of their lives. I also hope they will be hungry to reach the lost who are without hope. This is my goal because it is my life's mission. This book is just one tool God is using to touch others with His loving healing power."

The founder and president of Mathai Outreach Ministries, Mathai says his book also recounts how that ministry came to be as well as the happy ending his life ultimately took on once he embarked on the path to success: "Through obedience to God and His call, God has enabled me to build successful businesses, start a ministry, and reconcile with my family," the author says. "They have since joined me. I was like Joseph sent to Egypt ahead of his family to bring blessing [s] to his kinsmen."
