LONGWOOD, FL--Pastors' wives and women in ministry leadership positions are a very special group of ladies. Given incredible opportunities to fulfill their destiny, they make a great difference in the lives of many. As a wife, mother, and woman of God who has served in a variety of ministry leadership positions for more than 30 years, Xulon Press author Karyl Gaehring has broken the mold at times and at other times carried the full weight of the ministry load. In her new release, Help, God! I'm a Pastor's Wife ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-61579-618-2), she transparently tells her story of successes and failures, blessings and burdens, and laughter and tears in a way that relates to the real world of women in ministry.

"[My book] will make a difference in the lives of women in ministry and parachurch ministries by sharing real life situations to relate and letting them know that they are not alone, giving them guidance and encouragement. [It will give them] a healthy perspective for processing life, family, and ministry; practical wisdom for handling marriage, family, and ministry challenges in the 21st century; and encouragement and healing from ministry-related experiences."

Gaehring, who has founded and served as president of two parachurch ministries, wrote this book to help women fulfill their great destiny as wives, mothers, and ministers. She believes it addresses and responds to the great challenges of women in ministry in response to the great statistical ministry drop-outs and divorces that are occurring nationally in 21st century life. "[I hope] to touch women all over the world who often feel isolated and alone with ministry-related issues," she explains.
