LONGWOOD, FL-New Xulon Press release, Biblos: The Essential Book of Critical Belief ($12.99, paperback, 1-594672-99-7), is a book born of Christian author Dr. Tab Smith's passionate defense of "the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints." The author insists the 66 books of the Holy Bible were given by unique inspiration to the prophets and the apostles and therefore were totally inerrant in the original autographs. The book argues that it is critical Christians believe without reservation in the Scriptures for these reasons: impending danger at His Second Coming, intrinsic evidences, biblical statements, the Christological Bible, God's example, and honoring the written Word.

Says Smith, "The Holy Bible is the only source for objective and absolute truth in this world. It is critical that Christians and others as well believe in the Scripture as the Word of God. I offer the reader renewed confidence in the trustworthiness of Holy Scripture. I give assurances that such confidence is supported by evidences. I clearly set forth the reasons why it matters so much that the oracles of God be accepted."

Smith, the host and lecturer of The Bible Says..., a weekly television program carried by various cable stations in southeast Georgia and southern South Carolina, was inspired to pen Biblos when he decided to take a bold stand against popular liberal thought. The book, which is based on extensive research and scholarly thought, is in full agreement with the testimony of Jesus Christ and with that of the prophets and apostles regarding the inspired truth of Scripture.
