Jeter, who grew up outside Houston, never knew who Jesus was or the extent of what He could do until the age of 33, when she met Him in a prayer of desperation. From that point on, He took her on a journey of spiritual warfare and a discovery of truth that she would not have believed possible had it not happened to her. It wasn't easy, however; after coming to the Lord, she fasted, fought, and prayed her way through the spiritual warfare she was thrust into at the time she was saved. These experiences inspired her to speak the truth in love through her writing by helping others grappling with these same issues to look to God to deliver them from trials and tribulations.
