LONGWOOD, FL-Most people are familiar with the book of Genesis and the fall of man, but few know it as an exciting adventure that contains God's divine plan for the coming of Christ. The book is often neglected and the stories are sometimes admired only for their content and not for the overall biblical context. In Edward L. Dickson's Genesis: The Divine Plan (paperback, 978-1-60647-354-2), a new release from Christian self-publisher Xulon Press, the author hopes to put his 47 years of ministry experience to good use by giving readers the complete story.

Says the author, "I hope readers will have a greater appreciation for the book of Genesis. It tells about the beginning of all things, and it is the beginning of the plan God has for man. God has made it easily understood by casting it in the everyday lives of the characters of the book. I hope those who read will enter into their lives, so that by observing them they can see the plan unfolding."

A graduate of William Carey College and the New Orleans Baptist Seminary, Dickson says that the many years he spent observing things both in Scripture and everyday life helped him to write this book. As a student of the Word, God revealed invaluable things to him about the prophecies that confirmed the truth of the New Testament. Now readers can share in that revelation when they pick up a copy of Genesis, currently in bookstores.

Edward L. Dickson currently resides in Eight Mile, Alabama.
