LONGWOOD, FL-Joy Haynes received the shock of her life when, in 1999, she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and dementia. Her doctors assured her that her brain was shriveled up like a flower and would soon die. But, trusting in God's promises and His Word to heal her, she soon discovered that doctors didn't have the last word after all. At a revival in Smithton, Missouri, Haynes was instantly healed and received a brand new brain, a miracle she credits to the supernatural healing powers of God. How to Live When the Doctors Say You Are Going to Die: Doctors Don't Have the Last Word! (paperback, 978-1-60266-276-6) chronicles Haynes' story of faith and healing that will appeal to all readers.

"People are always interested in a cure for sicknesses and disease," says Haynes. "I am living proof that through applying God's Word and appropriating His promises we can receive healing. What God has done for me, He will do for others."

When it comes to the church, no topic is more relevant today than healing. With many of the leading causes of death attributed to cancer, Alzheimer's, diabetes, and stroke, Haynes knows without a doubt that divine healing is much needed. She assures readers it is "God's will to heal all who are willing to receive it as He is the one who created the human body and gave it life."
