LONGWOOD, FL-Teardrops of the Moon Goddess (paperback, 978-1-60266-365-7) is a novel about ordinary people in ordinary circumstances learning extraordinary lessons about themselves and about love. When Brad Hinson glances across the street and sees a young woman-Charlie McKenzie-stepping into the path of a speeding car, he has only a moment to react. Taking one giant leap, he thrusts himself forward, pushing the woman to the ground and out of harm's way. His concern for her welfare draws Brad into an amazing relationship, and he soon realizes his interest is more than friendship. Captivated by Charlie's sense of humor and her indomitable spirit, Brad acknowledges that he is falling in love. Charlie, on the other hand, has been struggling between being true to herself and marrying a man she doesn't love. BradÕs act of heroism throws her into an extraordinary friendship and opens the door to faith and lasting love.

This tender love story will give readers a place of safety in an unsafe world to set aside stress and enjoy a peaceful, fulfilling moment in time. First-time novelist Rebecca Anne Davis says, "I want my readers to be engaged completely in the story, to laugh and cry and rejoice, and to learn that Almighty God loves them...and learn a little bit about themselves in the process."

Rebecca Anne Davis was born in Wichita, Kansas, during World War II. Her father was a toy manufacturer who had a contract with the government that allowed him to use real rubber tires on his toys during the war years. Her mother was a working woman from the time the author was nine months old and was one of the original "Rosie the Riveter" women. Davis is the author of The Beginner's Handbook to Quilting and The BeginnerÕs Handbook to Sewing. This is Davis's first novel.
