LONGWOOD, FL--Even before he was born, author Brian David Knapp was held and protected by God in his mother's womb. Within the pages of In The Hands of the Father: My Life With God ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-60957-797-1), the author's new Xulon Press release, he tells the poignant story of a lifelong relationship with God and how richly He has blessed him. It is a story that shows how God loves all of His children and desires a personal relationship with each and every one of them. Readers will learn how to achieve and develop that personal relationship with God throughout their lifetime.

"I hope people will see how valuable a life is," the author says. "I hope they see how wonderful a personal relationship with God is and how He wants to be your best friend. Thirdly, I hope they find how to have that relationship with Him."

Knapp, a deacon, says that he has a lifetime of experience from being in a relationship with God, and that the book was inspired by Him. Like most people who are hurting today and do not know where to turn, he too has dealt with many life trials--but with the Savior helping him through those difficult times, he was able to find deliverance from the pain. "Some people have pain so deep they are not even aware of it," he explains. "My book tells the story of how a person can get through all that pain and have healing that only the Father can give them."
