Angelleta Patten-Carter was born in Westmoreland, Jamaica. A wife and mother of three, she immigrated to the United States in 1991, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in paralegal studies and an MBA in health services administration, both at Nova Southeastern University. She serves as vice president for the ladies ministry at 6th Avenue Church of God in Miami, Florida.
