LONGWOOD, FL—Separated by time and distance but bonded by love, Wilson goes back to seek his cherished love in the new Xulon Press title, A Promise to Live ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-61904-066-3), by author Ncheta Ihechineme. Accused of rape, separated by war, Wilson must prove his love for Valerie and seek God after all the pain and suffering with which life has burdened him. Torn by the decision to choose between two men, Valerie is driven by love to choose Wilson. But when distance and war separate them once more, will she still be bound by the love they shared and will she choose Wilson once more?

“After reading my book, readers will learn that no matter what life has thrown on or at you, do not keep God at arm’s length because He wants to walk that road with you and bear the burden,” the author says of her hopes for the book’s takeaway. “God is the living spring that can give you life, joy, and a reason to live in a challenging world. He alone can heal a broken heart... Life is all about struggles and challenges. People go to church and think that is what it takes to be a Christian. I believe people need to be reminded that it takes more than being born into a Christian family to be called a child of God. We need to embrace God to receive His promises in our life.”

Ncheta Vivien Ihechineme is a banker who is married to Maxwell Obinna Ihechineme. Writing has been her lifelong passion even though this is only her first published work. She is quite active in her local church, The Father’s Church, where she serves in various capacities but mostly as a Sunday school teacher. She resides in Abuja, Nigeria, with her husband.

Xulon Press, a division of Salem Communications, is the world’s largest Christian publisher, with more than 8,000 titles published to date.
