MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Gather Up the Fragments, ($16.99, paperback 9781619042469; $26.99, hardcover, 9781619042476; $8.49, e-book, 9781619045477) a new release from Xulon Press; the author, Cynthia Hill delves deep into a story about a boy, his lunch and the miracle that took place when people least expected it. A surface level reading reveals that the Lord allowed a miracle to take place one afternoon day in Galilee when a boy’s lunch of two fish and five loaves of barley bread fed five thousand people, but a more extensive study reveals the phrase, “gather up the fragments that none be lost.” After much time and reflection the author realized the Lord meant not only the lonely, displaced, forgotten and poor, but the believers as well.

“I think at times all of us have or will face challenges that may cause us to feel fragmented. I think Gather Up the Fragments helps us to get some new perspectives about ourselves, our situations and God’s ability to transform the fragments of our lives,” states the author. “This book points the reader to Jesus Christ as the giver of true spiritual and emotional healing. He’s the only real source of personal revelation and purpose.”

Cynthia Hill is the pastor of Joy River Baptist Church in Elgin, Illinois. She also ministers as a soloist and conference speaker who passionately encourages all to entrust their hearts to the Lord Jesus Christ. Her bold and caring ministry crosses ethnic barriers and delivers an anointed healing message of Christ’s love and forgiveness for all. Reverend Hill obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northern Illinois University; educational training from several universities including The New England School of Ministry, but most importantly it is her own personal time with the Lord that has created such an impact in her life.
