MAITLAND, FL— Learning to trust the Lord is a difficult task when life is free of struggle, but what about those seasons when life is a bit more difficult? Those are the times people should have the most faith in the Lord, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Matt Edwards new book, Sitting with the Savior: Meditations for Life ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-61904-408-1), will challenge readers to keep cultivating a close walk with God and to trust in Him during all seasons of life.  Individuals will be inspired by Edward’s words and will find the motivation they may have been lacking in their own personal relationship with the Lord.

“I hope readers will gain a renewed desire to sit in the presence of the Lord consistently and listen to him. I think this is needed as we navigate the storms and harbors of life,” expresses the author. “This book was born out of my private time with the Lord over the span of four years.”

Matt Edwards currently serves as the pastor of Faith Community Church in Paradise, Texas. He is also the president for No Compromise Ministries. Edwards has traveled extensively to challenge people to live by faith, all while seeking to live out the principles of prayer in his own life. He and his wife, Brenda, are college sweethearts and have four boys. Edwards is a graduate of Howard Payne University and writes an article for The Southern Wise newspaper.
