MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Gregory Gurbikian’s new book, The Deity of Jesus Christ in the Old & New Testaments ($27.99, paperback, 978-1-61904-875-1; $40.99, hardcover, 978-1-61904-876-8; $9.99, eBook, 978-1-61904-877-5), readers will find themselves on a journey with God as they start to better understand each verse of the Bible that speaks to the deity of Christ. This book goes verse by verse from Genesis to Revelation, which displays the full presentation of Christ’s deity.

“It is my vision that all people will come to know the Lord Jesus Christ as closely as I have come to know Him,” expresses the author. “On close examination, you will notice that many verses in the context refer to God the Father, however, not the exclusion of God the Son. The Bible speaks of names, attributes and works, which are attributed specifically to God the Father, however, not to the exclusion of God the Son because the same names, attributes and works are attributed to the Lord Jesus Christ.”

Gregory Gurbikian studied at Shelton College and did open air evangelism in New York City while there. He had a desire to preach where the gospel had never been preached, which led him to the missionary field through the Conservative Baptist Foreign Mission Society. He and his wife married in 1975 and both served in West Africa along the Ivory Coast for thirty years. Gurbikian founded the Bethel Bible Institute in Korhogo, Ivory Coast and prepared its four-year curriculum in French. He had the privilege of witnessing its first graduating class before his retirement in 1995.
