Burns new book, Death Our Greatest Adventure ($10.99, paperback, 978-1-61996-007-7; $17.99, hardcover, 978-1-61996-008-4; $5.49, eBook, 978-1-61996-009-1), readers will find, displayed in a beautiful arrangement of poetry, a man’s testimonial of the powerful faith he has in the Lord. Burns highlights themes of family, choice and grace as he writes. With the turn of every page, Burns is urging his readers closer to the unconditional love only the Lord can provide.

“God has given me a gift to write poetry with real revelation of His word and the life we each live. He also chose to give me life experiences and visitation in which I’ve shared [in] the pages of this book,” states the author. “Through poetry and scripture, one can receive a picture of life after our deaths.”

R.C. Burns is affectionately referred to as the Humble Hillbilly. At the age of fifty-two he was forced to retire. He has suffered a ruptured disk in his back, a collapsed lung and stage four cancer and is now cancer free. He spent his childhood years growing up in the hills of Tennessee. He would go off exploring in the woods, walking everyday with the Lord. Those quiet moments with the Lord have continued through the years. It is those same moments with the Lord that Burns wishes for his family and his readers to possess and cherish.
