MAITLAND, FL Within the pages of Linda B. Spiller’s new book, HIS CALM AFTER THE STORM ($14.99, paperback, 978-1-61996-697-0; $7.49, e-book, 978-1-61996-698-7) readers will learn of God’s mercy. The author felt compelled to write this book after an actual storm took place on April 27, 2011, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Lives were lost and there was devastation as a result of this tornado, however, God brought the ‘calm’ through his everlasting love.

“[This book] enables people to ‘ride’ out the storm through the eyes of the characters in the book,” states the author. “These are true stories and testimonies of people that survived a massive tornado. The readers will experience their emotions, the fear, the devastation and then, the calm after the storm.”

Linda B. Spiller has a passion for helping people. This passion was birthed out of her relationship with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She endeavors to follow the example of Jesus and the leading of the Holy Spirit. Out of love and compassion for people, she utilizes her resources, time and talents to assist those who are in need. She felt compelled to write this book to be used as a means to provide disaster relief. Linda and Morgan, her loving husband of 47 years, live in rural Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. They have two children and five grandchildren.
