The author and illustrator hope to reach a young generation and influence them in developing creative thinking. Also, considered a “Pet Expert” or go to person on pet related topics on local and national TV, newspapers, and magazine articles. Dana Cargile is a graduate of Baylor University. She has continued her studies at the Southwest Museum of Art in Midland, Texas, and at workshops in Jackson, Mississippi. She has been painting seriously for the last 15 years. Dana sells her art in trade shows, from her website, and works on commissioned pieces.
