readers
will learn more about their own selves as Gethers shows them that they already
have everything they need to overcome the difficulties and challenges we all
face. With this book, she seeks to help her readers recognize their true
standing in the battle between good and evil, leaving them encouraged and
hopeful when they have read it through.
“This book is real life experience,” states the author, “and based on Biblical scriptures.” She hopes to inspire her readers toward a new outlook on their relationships with God and renew their understanding of what it means to apply His word to their lives. It is not necessary that we be defeated by what we face; we do not have to allow circumstances or negative events to take over our lives. We do not have to live as though we are alone in the struggle, because we certainly are not. Gethers intends for her readers’ human realities to reflect the divine reality that we are more than conquerors.
Marcia has a passion for those who are hurting and have experienced tragedies. She wants to convey to them that no matter how deep the pain or the struggle Jesus is the answer. He is able to heal, deliver and set free. A new life can begin with Him. She is a member of Mount Pleasant Church and Ministries. She currently is co-leader of the Prison Ministry. She ministers in the Baltimore City Division of Pretrial and Detention Services. With her gift of encouragement and enthusiasm, she teaches the Word of God while motivating people to take action.
