MAITLAND, FL— The pages of Terence Lewis’ new book, Bani: A Butterfly Adventure ($8.99, paperback, 978-1-62230-329-8; $4.99, e-book, 978-1-62230-991-7) will capture the imagination of the young reader—and the young at heart—as they escape into a fantasy world of butterflies. With biblical imagery for inspiration, and a good measure of humor, this tale leaves a lasting impression. The reader will be challenged to discover their gift and joyfully develop it to maturity.

“Originally, this story was written for my nine year old son, Elijah. Like the weaving of a tapestry, I attempted to blend biblical imagery with a taste for adventure and the magnificent splendor of butterflies, one of creation's sublime expressions,” states the author. “This allegory of the born again Christian experience is my endeavor to make a supernatural event become natural. It's down-to-earth, where the kids are, and my nine year old heartily approves! Additionally, this story promotes perseverance, fosters faith, and ignites the imagination.”

Terence Lewis is sixty-four, a father and grandfather, who loves children's stories and fondly remembers story time as one of his favorite memories. Today, recalling that same excitement, he tries to recapture that glint of delight in a child's eyes with his writing. He majored in English in high school and two years of college; he studied illustration at Kendall School Of Design, in Grand Rapids, MI. He has taught the Bible and preached in numerous churches.
