MAITLAND, FL— Deborah Howerton-Willis’s new book, Amos the Aardvark ($24.99, paperback, 978-1-62419-623-2; $9.99, e-book, 978-1-62419-624-9) is an exciting journey with main character, Amos, as he discovers that God made him one-of-a-kind, and that there is no one else able to do all of the special things that God created him to do. This book is part one in a twenty-six volume series, which teaches all about animals.

“Every child will discover that they too are very special in God’s eyes and that He sees each of them as a very special creation having their own talents and abilities that no one else has!” states the author. “Although a children’s book, in the confusion we are facing in society today, children need to have the assurance that they have direction for their lives.”

Deborah Howerton-Willis is currently studying for her Master’s degree in psychology and child development, and seeking accreditation for certification in the area of music therapy to work with special needs kids. She adds, “I am a survivor of Multiple Sclerosis, diagnosed in 1983. I had struggles for many years – yet still was able to do many things that even well people don’t do, such as climbing a 10,000 foot volcano in 2003. God’s healing power enabled this. My background is broadcasting in television and radio, and I currently co-host a live call-in talk show here in San Antonio, Girl Talk Texas.”

Xulon Press, a division of Salem Communications, is the world’s largest Christian self-publisher, with more than 8,000 titles published to date.
