MAITLAND, FL— Glenda Smith Walters’s new book, This Place That I Go... ($15.99, paperback, 978-1-62419-540-2; $7.99, e-book, 978-1-62419-541-9) is a collection of short stories on angels and near-death experiences, blessings and answered prayers, visions and dreams, while acknowledging that the dark side exists. This book opens one’s eyes to everyday miracles, while encouraging the reader to believe in their own supernatural encounters and dream-like “visitations."

“It is my hope that this book is proof there is life after death, that Heaven and Hell [do] exist, and that God is very real,” states the author. “This book can bring comfort and closure to those who have lost loved ones, and reinforce those who have doubts about a spiritual world co-existing with ours. Not only do many of these testimonials come from a Hospice perspective, but they come from the hearts of individuals... from all walks of life, who were brave enough to share their spiritual experiences.”

Glenda Smith Walters is a native of Lexington, North Carolina and has over fourteen years of experience, in Hospice care. Glenda has written human interest and travel articles for numerous publications. She spends much of her time in the Oak Island and Southport area. Her background includes working in product development for the furniture industry, where she worked on a project at the Mission Ranch Resort in Carmel, California with actor Clint Eastwood. After a career, spanning over fifteen years within the furniture industry, Glenda decided to go in another direction… one of service to others.
