MAITLAND, FL— Snyder’s new book, The Centurion Way ($ 10.99, paperback, 978-1-62419-346-0; $ 5.49, e-book, 978-1-62419-347-7) is a study for average people from one who considers himself nothing more than their equal. He does not have a long list of degrees or accolades; just as the centurion was not educated and distinguished like the Israelite Rabbis. However, with all their elite understanding, Jesus said He had not seen faith like the centurion’s in all of Israel. What does this kind of faith entail when it involves normal people in everyday circumstances? Snyder writes a book for both individual and group study to lead out in a discovery of the answer to this very question. It will help all readers think about their faith from a different perspective, seeing the relevance of historic biblical characters and events in our lives today, since Jesus is the same now as He was then.

“I want Christians to understand what the Gospel of the Kingdom of God is about and how it relates to their faith,” states the author. “I want them to understand that Kingdom is real and that, as His children, we are a part of it. God brings healing and order into our lives; I genuinely want this book to act as a catalyst for this healing.” Snyder shows that while the Christian life is not easy, the law of love is simple. He simultaneously puts his readers in a position to fortify their own discipleship as well as contribute to the discipleship of others around them. This study brings readers to the foundation of faith, the basics of Christianity and the mode of effectiveness that is what really makes a difference in what happens after they first meet Christ.

Snyder is a retired Naval Officer who now works in the IT industry as a Program Manager. He has traveled extensively as well as lived overseas and held various leadership positions in the church. The author currently resides in Ohio.
