K.C. Lindberg is a mother-son author team from Alabama. Kathleen Lindberg is a wife and mother of military personnel and is thus familiar with the sacrifices and the protocols of the armed services. She is also a retired R.N. whose most unusual job was at a prison for the criminally insane. Working as a nurse and volunteering for different organizations allowed her to learn how people react to different situations, which has helped her with the writing of this book. Chris Lindberg is an Army veteran of two Gulf wars, and his fourteen years of military experience helped him learn to think as the adversary. He currently serves as a civilian and continues to work in the fields of Intelligence and Security. His background was key to the technical aspects of the book.
