of the Light: The Story of Dark Shadow ($25.99, paperback, 9781628392494; $8.99, e-book, 9781628392500) a young, orphan boy joins a
superhero to save the world. The underlying message from author Alexis L.
Castro is one of encouragement for readers not to lose faith in God, Christ,
nor in the Word of God—regardless of what may happen in the earth and the
universe. According to the author, confiding in the Almighty God and His Word
is of paramount significance.
“My
desire is that people start believing in God and in His Word again,” states the author. “That there
is and will always be an explanation
for the things and events that, in accordance to God’s Word, appear to have
none. We should not lose our faith, hope and love towards God, even if the
worse or unimaginable were to happen in our history.”
Born in Puerto Rico in 1981, Alexis Castro has earned a Bachelors degree in music education, a Masters degree in theology and is a music teacher by profession. He has been a Christian his entire life and has always enjoyed stories. Ever since his childhood years, had came up with a story of his own to tell. Having discovered his passion for writing in his early twenties, he realized that he could finally tell this story for the very first time. Alexis currently lives in Puerto Rico with his wife and only daughter.
