MAITLAND, FL— In his new book, Spirit Driven Evangelism ($10.99, paperback, 9781628390469; $5.99, e-book, 9781628390476) Robert M. Myers calls readers beyond the four walls of the church and out of their comfort zone. This book provides various, useful approaches to Christian evangelism, all the while being led by the Holy Spirit. The author’s hope is that the Spirit of God can be “a consistent and visible presence in our local communities,” leading to a relationship between the unchurched and Jesus Christ.

“This book has the potential for being a catalyst for change in our neighborhoods,” states the author. “When Spirit Driven Evangelism becomes a consistent and visible presence in our local communities, change will occur as the Spirit of Righteousness will drive out the spirit of unrighteousness. Such change will be evident in lifestyle/behavioral changes, improved family relationships, and the reduction of crime in our neighborhoods as the people will seek to improve their lives by the choices they make.”

Author Robert M. Myers has served as ministry leader of the Master’s Touch Outreach Ministry at Reid Temple AME Church (Reid Temple) for thirteen years. The author’s spirit-filled teachings on evangelism—given to ministry members in preparation for street witnessing—have been tried, tested and applied over the past thirteen years. The author is also president and co-founder of a non-profit organization called “Helping People Who Help People Foundation, Inc.,” which provides resources to those organizations in the community whose missions are to help those in need.
