Rehana Bacchus converted to Christianity in 1994, and became a born-again believer. Prior to her conversion, Rehana engaged in viewing pornography. After making the decision to accept Jesus Christ as the Lord and Savior of her life, the author was constantly plagued with pornographic images, and even succumbed to looking at pornography again on a smaller scale than before. Rehana was convinced that accepting Christ should have given her instant deliverance from this vice, and could not understand why she was still being plagued with this temptation. Eventually—through an eleven-year-long process—the author was completely delivered from pornography, and she finally realized that her deliverance was tied to her obedience in writing TRAPPED? She adds, “Nevertheless, throughout the years of struggling to overcome, the Lord never left my side, but constantly displayed His unending love for me.”
