MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Wayne Hardy, Jr.’s new book, The Devil Had a Hit Out On Me: God's Miracles ($12.99, paperback, 9781628716870; $6.99, e-book, 9781628716887) is an intriguing journey through the obstacles in one young man’s troubled life. Born in a small southern town in Missouri, and raised in the rugged streets of Chicago, death awaits him at every corner. This autobiographical story takes a turn when, finally, the young man encounters true hope—which changes his destiny forever.

“This is for any one, young or old, who is struggling with addictions, and having trouble moving forward,” states the author. “It is written to reach those who do not know God or His son, Jesus Christ, in the forgiveness of their sins. This book will open their minds and help them see that there is a better way of life…”

Wayne Hardy, Jr. was born in Missouri; raised in Chicago; and later moved to Michigan. He has been married to his wife, Sandra, for eighteen years. He is the father of eight grown children, and grandfather of twenty-one grandchildren. As a former alcoholic, drug abuser, gang member, thief, and someone who used to mistreat women, Wayne has come to the understanding that the devil tried to destroy his life by making him believe that this kind of behavior was normal. But now, as a born-again Christian, he has discovered that it was wrong, and that Jesus Christ holds the answer to everything. Now, the author is a minister and a prayer warrior. He claims complete freedom from the devil’s strongholds.
