Fourteen years later, in 1999, her daughter was diagnosed with leukemia; she was not expected to live through the week. In 2013, the author faced a life threatening trial of her own. Mary adds, “By going through these trials, God has strengthened my faith, and given me confidence to know He is our loving Father, who loves us and wants us to have life more abundantly.”
