MAITLAND, FL— In her new book, SMELLIN' GOOD, OR STINKIN' BAD? What is your scent? ($13.99, paperback, 9781498420501; $6.99, e-book, 9781498420518) Elisa Vazquez conveys a message to Christian believers: As God’s people, we are meant to be the delightful, sweet smelling fragrance of Christ. Wherever they go, Christians are meant to give off the “smell” of Jesus through words and actions. However, there is the alternate route—we can also exude a foul odor of criticism, egocentricity, negativity, et cetera, causing others to turn away from Christ rather than to be drawn closer to Him.

“This book portrays incredible stories of ordinary people who have done extraordinary things for God simply because they have surrendered their lives to Him,” states the author. “God fills us with His sweet smelling aroma of love and hope, and sends us out into a dying, decaying, world in crisis to diffuse His exquisite scent. He can use anyone to transform societies, communities, and neighborhoods, no matter what his/her background. He can use you!

Elisa Vazquez is a conference speaker and teacher of the Word.
