MAITLAND, FL— In the new book, The Gowganda Pilot and Me: Our Survivals, ($14.99, paperback, 9781498403917; $7.99, e-book, 9781498403924) readers will discover the true story of an adventurous pilot from Akron, Ohio, who loved flying and the wilderness of northern Ontario, Canada. The memoir is written by the pilot’s daughter not wanting her story to be forgotten. It records the tragedies, miraculous survivals, and how he saved her life, her husband’s life, and the life of their unborn son. Additionally, the book includes photos that will help readers connect with the author’s true experiences.

“Life is precious, and each moment needs to be appreciated and not taken for granted,” states the author. “My dad was seventy years old before he finally turned his heart and mind to God. He regretted that and realized how many years he had wasted. Hopefully, readers will realize that God does know what goes on in our lives and He most assuredly does care and will not waste another day without Him.”

Pat Craig currently resides in the suburbia of Denver, CO, with her husband, Duane, after moving from Ohio to be with their son, David, and his family. After spending twenty-five years in the field of interior decorating (five with Ethan Allan), Pat now combines non-fiction, inspirational writing with speaking engagements, volunteering, and reading for the blind.
