Doreen Grossett was born in Jamaica, with a Bachelors of Science in Public Administration and Masters of Science in Public Sector Management. For over 40 years, she worked for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and for the Government of Jamaica, as Director of the Ministry of Finance and Planning. She managed the Public Sector Employee Assistance Program, where Grossett and her team provided support for public servants in counseling, mediation and conflict management all over Jamaica. In ministry, she has been a teacher, preacher, choir member and led in womens’ ministry, as well as an executive member of the international organization, the National Women’s Group. In retirement, she lives in the U.S., and has a daughter.
