The author hopes that readers might realize that sometimes what adults believe to be mischief, disobedience, or rebellion is truly just curiosity.
“Children rely on adults to look out for them even when it seems like it wouldn't matter,” states the author. “Sometimes it means standing up for them too. [The book] points out how we as adults can sometimes miss the obvious.”
Barbara Keeton attended Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College. She has taught Sunday school and children’s church for many years. She has worked with children of all ages, including teens, since the 1970s. She currently works with juvenile offenders in a residential setting. She has worked as a youth care worker for the past fifteen years. Keeton is also the author of the series, The Twins Quest the Third Week and currently resides in Lawrence, Kansas.
