MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Stevenson’s new book, Catch Them Young, Inc., ($11.99, paperback, 9781625098580; $5.99, e-book, 9781625098597) readers will find tools to help the young people in their lives develop positive habits for prosperous futures and avoid the possible dangers in modern culture. The author discusses the crisis among American youth today stemming from lowered standards, inconsistent boundaries, and widely accepted immoral activity. To combat these threats, she has compiled practical principles and guidelines designed to impact the lives of today's youth. She speaks to all parents, grandparents, and caregivers who have concerns about their young loved ones’ life decisions

“My prayer and goal is to cause the reader to reflect on their lives and the example they set for young people on a daily basis. It's not just about you!” states the author. “This book is a direct result of the state of our youth. These are the answers needed to put our youth on the right path. Raising our children to be successful at a young age is key.”

Joy Stevenson experienced teenage pregnancy, drug abuse, and promiscuity in her youth. However, after dropping out of school in the 9th grade, she beat the odds and later obtained an Associate Degree in Business and a Bachelor Degree with an emphasis in Project Management. She is now working toward a Masters in Human Services Counseling and continuing to guide young people toward successful and productive lives.
