She is a long time member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan. In December 2013, a health scare drastically changed her life. Her entire thought process changed. From the deep dark recesses of her being, she quietly called on the Lord. At the time of her writing this book, she is still using the Lord’s help to work through it. She credits the Lord for the progress she has made. If she had not known who Jesus was, she would not be where she is today.
