MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Marlene Burling’s new book, Morning Meditations, ($20.99, paperback, 9781498448307; $9.99, e-book, 9781498448314) readers will be encouraged to realize that no matter what they are going through – and no matter how difficult or trying it may be – that they are NOT alone because God is always there. The author has taken simple everyday experiences, objects, and Bible stories and written spiritual applications for daily encouragement. God has used these spiritual lessons in her life as part of the healing in her own grieving process after the loss of her husband. The Lord helped her to see Him even in the smallest details of life and she will encourage the same to her readers.

I want my readers to grow closer to God in their daily walk with Him,” states the author. “I want them to realize that God is trying to teach them spiritual lessons through their every day experiences in life. I want them to know they can relay on Him for peace, comfort, direction and joy even in the midst of heartache.”

Marlene Burling has trusted the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior since 1967. She was a pastor's wife for 25 years. She has been a teacher in children's ministries, youth counselor, led ladies' Bible studies, written articles for a Christian newsletter and community paper and a children's book, and was a speaker for ladies' retreats. The Lord had given her many experiences as a pastor's wife and the mother of 3 children, 10 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. Now, as a widow, He is teaching and leading her in other areas. She proudly serves a great God.
