MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Raymond L. Wheeler’s new book, Change the Paradigm - How to Lead Like Jesus in Today's World, ($22.99, paperback, 9781498440165; $9.99, e-book, 9781498440172) readers will discover a book written to challenge the norm. Uncritically adopted business leadership styles infiltrate organizational experience with promises of efficiency and effectiveness yet fail to address the challenge – congregations and organizations feel compressed, threatened, and lost in the radical social shifts occurring all around them. At worst, churches and Christian organizations feel no different than any other organization in how they relate to both their employees and their members. Jesus changed the paradigm of leadership by starting with service. This book is a blueprint for how to lead as a servant and produce extraordinary results.

“Servant leadership is not a concept limited to the walls of a church building,” states the author. “It is as contagious and life changing as faith. I want readers to know that leaders are responsible for the way they lead. Servant leaders take responsibility to help institutions become places of clarity, healing, mission, and flourishing as they act in obedience and relationship to God and relationship to one another.”
