MAITLAND, FL— Within the pages of Sally Moore’s new book, Three Hearts - An Alzheimer's Caregiver's Journal & 52-Week Devotional, ($10.99, paperback, 9781498453523; $5.99, e-book, 9781498453530) describes an Alzheimer’s caregiver’s daily struggles to care for her mother while grappling to understand the disease process and help her mother throughout her journey. This book is a voice to assist other Alzheimer’s caregivers through their journey. These caregivers are lonely and often deserted by families and friends. They have no one to talk with, no one who understands, and no one to help carry their burden. There is only anguish, pain and the daily struggle to cope. Sally Moore offers hope, joy and peace to Alzheimer’s caregivers so they know that they are not alone.

Three Hearts reflects my religious faith, family values, experience and insights to help Alzheimer’s caregivers restore balance during times of crisis,” states the author. “My journal entries offer daily Biblical inspirations that sustained me throughout the challenges.”

Sally Moore brings over 32 years of personal, professional and practical experience to her writings on caring for Alzheimer’s loved ones. She assisted her father in caring for her mother and was the primary caregiver for her husband, both of whom suffered from this disease. After their deaths, Sally returned to college and earned her Master’s in Social Work. She designs and presents Alzheimer’s care presentations and workshops; and hosts caregiver support groups. She is a retired hospice social worker. In 2009, Sally founded Perks n Moore, Inc., a non-profit organization dedicated to taking care of caregivers.
